Will there ever be a Cure for Cancer?

We use the term “cured” when referring to cancer that doesn't come back within five years. But cancer can still come back after five years, so it's never truly cured. Currently, there's no true cure for cancer. But recent advances in medicine and technology are helping move us closer than ever to a cure.
Chimeric antigen receptor: It uses genetically engineered immune T cells to recognize specific proteins on tumor cells.
Immunotherapy is a new form of cancer treatment that uses the immune system to attack cancer cells.
Targeted drugs often work by blocking cancer cells from copying themselves. This means they can help stop a cancer cell from dividing and making new cancer cells.
Chemotherapy kills cancer cells that have already been made.
Oncogenomics: It is a sub-field of genomics that characterizes cancer-associated genes. It focuses on genomic, epigenomic and transcript alterations in cancer.
Radiation Therapy: It is a therapy using ionizing radiation, generally as part of cancer treatment to control or kill malignant cells.
Still so many treatments like Surgery, Hormone Therapy, Stem Cell Transplant and Precision Medicine are there and a continuous research, clinical trials are still on-going. The treatments which are using could only provide temporary relief but a permanent cure for the cancer not yet discovered.
Journal of carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis is using Editorial Tracking System for quality in review process. Editorial Tracking is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems used by most of the best open access journals.
Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis (Volume 12) or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor's approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.
Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts as an e-mail attachment to mail
